The Haunting of Kraken Moor

I am pleased to announce that my 2013 Victorian Horror novel, THE HAUNTING OF KRAKEN MOOR has been reissued in both Kindle and Paperback formats.

The 2018 reissue contains a new cover and an altered framing device, but is otherwise the same story that has been one of my most well-received novels.

THE HAUNTING OF KRAKEN MOOR is the story of Beatrice Sharper. In the middle of the American Civil War, Beatrice turns her back on her family’s plantation life and makes her own way in the world. It is not an easy journey, and on the eve of 1865, nearly penniless and running out of options, Beatrice takes a job as a servant at Kraken Moor, a foreboding castle in the east of England.

From her first moments at Kraken Moor, Beatrice is beset upon by supernatural forces, as an ancient evil plots his return to the land of the living. By the end of her time at Kraken Moor, the question is not whether Miss Sharper survives, but if she even wants to …
