Free Kindle Version of Gunfighter Gothic: Thanksgiving at the House of Absinthe & Steam

Gunfighter Gothic Thanksgiving 4

Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that my novella, GUNFIGHTER GOTHIC: THANKSGIVING AT THE HOUSE OF ABSINTHE & STEAM is available for free download on the Kindle from now through March 20th:

It’s 1866, and Hanna and Jill are on vacation in London but the weird refuses to leave them alone. After a sumptuous Thanksgiving dinner, Gunfighter Gothic is hired by an American businessman to discover the cause of his daughter’s maladies, which he believes to be supernatural in origin. Hanna and Jill spend the night partying with his daughter, Pemelia, and her fiancĂ© at the grand opening of the House of Absinthe & Steam, a fashionable cocktail bar run by a brilliant botanist that holds an ancient secret and the key to Pemelia’s fate.

THANKSGIVING is set after GUNFIGHTER GOTHIC: UNDER ZEPPELIN SKIES, but it is designed to work as a stand-alone tale. It will also be the first story included in GUNFIGHTER GOTHIC: ABSINTHE & STEAM, which should be available in early summer 2014.

I’m thrilled that THANKSGIVING is already being downloaded quite a bit, ranking #1 in the free Kindle Western Short Story rankings, #29 in the free Kindle Western rankings, and #39 in the free Kindle Occult rankings.

If you don’t do the Kindle thing, but want a free .pdf copy of the novella, just tell me where to send it, and it’s yours.

Casting Hanna and Jill. In my head, when I write Hanna and Jill, I've cast them as Grace Park and Jordana Brewster.
